Orders

What is the minimum order amount?

Ordering within the Netherlands:
The minimum order value for the first order is €750.

Within The Netherlands we deliver orders by DHL, and charge €15. Orders exceeding €400 (excl VAT) are delivered free of charge (additional expenses for pallets are applicable).

Ordering outside the Netherlands:
The minimum order value for the first order is €750, for re-orders €400.

How do I place an order?

Once you’ve selected your products, they will be placed in your ‘basket’ (step 1).

After you’ve confirmed your order you will get the opportunity to check your contact information and add a reference and/or note (step 2).

Now, it’s time for your final confirmation (step 3). Your order will be sent to our office and you will receive an order confirmation.

By placing an order, you agree with the VAN VERRE terms of trade.

How long does it take for my order to be processed?

Delivery within The Netherlands:
Once we have received your order we pick and ship it as soon as possible, usually within a week. If we foresee any deviation, we will contact you to solve this matter.

Delivery outside The Netherlands:
When we have received your order, we will send a Proforma invoice including shipping charges. After your confirmation and payment, we will prepare your goods for shipment. The arrival time naturally depends on the time your order needs to travel to arrive at your doorstep. Peak times may affect this timeline.

I would like to be on your Nearest stockist map, what does it take?

We would love to expand our community. Via our VAN VERRE Nearest Stockist List we help your new clients to find you effortlessly. Please send us a message at pakhuis@van-verre.com to receive the required conditions.

What are the payment options?

It is solely possible to pay via bank transfer. You can find our bank account details on your pro forma.

Products

Can I use images from your website?

Yes. If you would like to use images for your social media or website, please feel free to download them directly from our website. If you need higher resolution images, then please send us an e-mail.

Do the products/colours I see on the website match the reality?

The images are an indication. We have taken great care of taking pictures that show you the details and aesthetics of our hand-made items. Slight differences may occur between items of the same origin, as every piece is unique and crafted by hand.

How do I find a specific item?

You can use the search icon at the right top of the homepage to quickly find the items you are looking for. Would you like to find items based on colour, material or collection? Use the filters which you can find when you go to ‘products’ and pick the last option in the menu; ‘show all products’. Select the filter(s) of choice on the left side of the page. It is also possible to range items, ascending and descending in price and product code.

Why are some items 'out of stock'?

VAN VERRE aims to have all products in stock, yet this cannot always be guaranteed. A placed order doesn’t mean that you will have the products in your store a couple of days later. Our handmade products can be sold out from time to time.You will be informed whenever we foresee a delivery delay.

Delivery

I have received a damaged / wrong product; what should I do?

Kindly contact us at pakhuis@van-verre.com mentioning your order number and providing pictures of the damaged/wrong goods and packaging, within 5 days after delivery. Our client relation team will help you soonest to solve this matter. Please note that we are not able to process your request if the return is registered after these 5 days.

How can I track my order?

As soon as your package has been picked up at our warehouse, you will receive the tracking information via an automatic e-mail by DHL.

I have not received my order, what should I do?

First, check the package tracking in the email you have received via DHL, which was sent to you after your order had left the warehouse. When this does not clarify the matter, kindly reach out to us as soon as possible.

What are the delivery costs?

Within The Netherlands:
We deliver orders by DHL, and charge €15. Orders exceeding €400 (excl VAT) are delivered free of charge (additional expenses for pallets are applicable).

Outside the Netherlands:
Orders within Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg are charged a minimum of €40 or 9% of the goods’ value. Orders within the EU (excluding above countries) are charged a minimum of €40 or 10% of the goods’ value. For large or fragile items and/or delivery to remote areas, the actual expenses apply. Goods are delivered on a DAP basis. Additional documentation expenses for Norway, United Kingdom and Switzerland are added. Orders outside of the EU are delivered Ex Works. Priority shipping adds a surcharge of €30.

Do you have a physical shop?

Yes. You can find our flagship store and showroom in the city center of Amsterdam. It is also where our office is based. It is a place where we can meet and connect and where you can hear the rich stories behind our artisanal collections. A space where we can share our knowledge with each other and where you can be the first to hold our new found items in your hands. Hand-picking your favourite pieces to add them to your own collection.
